Shadows Fall have shared the lyric video for the new song 'The Unknown' from 'Fire From the Sky.' The album drops May 15, so if this doesn't get the juices flowing for the new disc, nothing else will. But trust us. Once you watch and listen to this vid, you might start a moshpit in your bedroom.

The clip is set to a  scene of urban decay and blight, full of destruction and chaos, such as a crumbling house and an overturned car. The apocalyptic images fit the mood of the thrashy, two-horns-up song, that's for sure. It also feels like an animated video for the song, as opposed to "just a lyric video."

In other Shads news, the band has announced that Ed Lanouette of Dark Day Sunday is filling in for longtime member Paul Romanko on their U.S. tour, according to Blabbermouth. No reason was given for Romanko's absence as of press time.

If you’ve not had your fill of Shadows Fall with the lyric video, how about you watch Loudwire's exclusive video interview with singer Brian Fair, which we conducted at the New England Metal & Hardcore Fest.
