Sick Puppies Announce Fall 2016 Tour Dates
Sick Puppies are ready to keep the “fury” going into fall. The band has just announced two new legs of fall tour dates, with the band headlining shows in September, then joining Skillet for the “Unleashed” tour in October.
After a busy spring that saw the release of the Fury album and a headlining stint on the HardDrive Live tour, the band has a handful of festival dates this summer before ramping up again in the fall. They’ll play the Rock Fest and Rock USA festivals July 14 and 15 in Cadott and Oshkosh, Wis. Then, on Aug. 19, they’ve signed on to play a radio station festival in Omaha, Neb.
As for the fall tour, it kicks off Sept. 17 in Chester, Pa. at the Rock Allegiance Festival. The headlining run continues through Oct. 5 in Rockford, Ill., with stops at Houston Open Air and the Louder Than Life festivals within the midst of the run., Then, on Oct. 6 in Fort Wayne, Ind., they’ll join Skillet for the “Unleashed” tour. That trek runs through Oct. 23 in Tulsa, Okla., with only a side headlining date in Wilmington, N.C. on Oct. 18 breaking up the run.
Sick Puppies have rebounded nicely after undergoing a lineup change. The band added guitarist-vocalist Bryan Scott to their lineup before the release of the Fury album in May, and they’re off to a solid start with the single “Stick to Your Guns.”
“This whole album has been about not letting anything stand in the way of what you want, and as a band we persevered and made it through to the other side. All the raw emotions that were felt during the process led us to name this album Fury. We hope you love it as much as we do,” stated the band of their latest offering. The disc is available for purchase here.
