- Congrats to Slash, as the Guns N' Roses guitarist has been named Gibson's first ever Global Brand Ambassador. As part of his new title, the guitar great will be developing new products with Gibson Custom, Gibson and Epiphone. Details on the first of these products will be announced later this month.

- The Dillinger Escape Plan have added a second New York Terminal 5 farewell show due to overwhelming demand. The group will now play another date on Dec. 28, the day prior to their Dec. 29 farewell show. Tickets are on sale here.

- A new documentary on the band L7, titled L7: Pretend We're Dead, will be released worldwide on Oct. 13 on VOD and in DVD and Blu-Ray format.
