In addition to the practical function of protecting your eyes from the sun, the right pair of sunglasses can add an air of mystery and coolness. And what's cooler than Slayer? The legendary thrashers have teamed up with Arnette to lend their savage style to some of the company's eyewear.

Slayer and Arnette are collaborating on a collection featuring black and blood red artwork on Witch Doctor sunglasses, Series 3MX and Skylight snow goggles.

The Witch Doctor is a part of the A.C.E.S. collection of frames with interchangeable arms. They are available in two color options: grey lenses with a matte black frame and black arms, or red mirror lenses with a matte black frame and red arms, both featuring official Slayer artwork.

The Slayer artwork will also be available on The Skylight, Arnette's full-featured snow goggle and the Series 3MX,  the model of choice for motocross and FMX riders. The Arnette Uncommon Projects Capsule Collection with Slayer will be released in limited amounts this month. For details on the collection, go here.

Slayer are getting ready to launch their first full North American tour in two years. It was supposed to kick off Oct. 22 in Anchorage, Alaska, but that gig was canceled. Instead, the trek with Gojira and 4Arm gets underway Oct. 25 in Las Vegas.
