Slipknot took away the prize for Comeback of the Year at the Revolver Golden Gods. Wearing black armbands with the No. 2 on them -- paying tribute to their fallen bandmate Paul Gray -- members of Slipknot accepted the award from Dino Cazares and Burton C. Bell of Fear Factory.

Cazares and Bell took to the stage, reminiscing of their very own comeback in 2010, which was announced at that year's Golden Gods. "Dino and I know all about comebacks," said Bell. "After a long hiatus, Dino and I reunited … and we made our triumphant return at the Golden Gods. Revolver set it up."

Cazares added, "Everybody loves a comeback right? Especially metal fans."

Slipknot beat out fellow nominees Anthrax, Dream Theater, Ministry, Evanescence and Van Halen for the Comeback of the Year award, which Slipknot percussionist Shawn Crahan grabbed before making his speech.

"I'm known for rambling so I'm gonna keep it short," Crahan began. "The first thing i wanna say is hail Paul Gray. It's very important for everyone to know this: we never went anywhere because our fans never went anywhere. So from my brothers on stage and for my brothers who couldn't be here, we love all of you."

Frontman Corey Taylor quickly added, "Thank you everybody, we'll see you this summer, motherf---ers."
