Smashing Pumpkins ‘Gish’ + ‘Siamese Dream’ Deluxe Box Sets Giveaway!

Talk about a smashing contest! Loudwire is teaming up with EMI Music and Ultimate Classic Rock to give away the first two Smashing Pumpkins albums -- 1991’s ‘Gish’ and 1993’s ‘Siamese Dream’ –- in their remastered and expanded form. On Nov. 29, both albums will be released in CD, 2CD/DVD Deluxe Edition, vinyl LP, and digital configurations, and to celebrate, we’re giving you the chance to win the Deluxe Edition box sets of both albums. Released in 1991, the Pumpkins’ debut album, ‘Gish,’ is a sprawling platter of psychedelic-tinged indie rock that introduced the band's unique vision with classics such as ‘I Am One,’ ‘Siva’ and ‘Rhinoceros.’ The forthcoming Deluxe Edition of ‘Gish’ will include the remastered CD, a second CD of 'Gish'-era of demos and other rarities, plus a 10-track concert DVD recorded on Aug. 25, 1990, at the Metro in the band's hometown of Chicago.

The Pumpkins' breakthrough 1993 album ‘Siamese Dream' was a watershed moment for the alternative nation and spawned massive hits ‘Cherub Rock,’ ‘Today’ and ‘Disarm.’ The two-CD/DVD 'Siamese Dream' Deluxe collection features the remastered album, a second CD of 'Dream' outtakes and other rarities, and 17-song live concert DVD also recorded at the Metro, this time on Aug. 14, 1993.

Both Deluxe Edition sets will be packaged in a special lift-top box, with liner notes, track-by-track commentary from Billy Corgan, previously unseen collages and photos, postcards and other goodies. For full track listings of both albums, click here.
