It's always pretty great to see the pop world crossover into rock, and yesterday was no different when Solange joined Incubus onstage in New Orleans at Champions Square. She joined the group to sing "Aqueous Transmission" from their 2001 full-length album Morning View.

From the clips that have surfaced, Solange brought an absolutely phenomenal presence to the song. It's very clear how well her voice adapts to the song, strong in no matter what the genre is. Her newest record A Seat At the Table slingshotted her to pop supremacy, earning her slots on festival dates across the country.

The vocalist has been previously open about her fandom over Incubus, mentioning in a message to her teenage self that she wrote for Teen Vogue that she would go through a "Rasta-vegan-thrifter-who-is-determined-to-marry-Brandon-Boyd phase," so it's pretty sweet to see her live out her teenage dream onstage with the band.

Incubus has kept busy this year, releasing their latest studio album this past spring. The record charted big for the band, debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. It's produced a wealth of great songs, including "Nimble Bastard" and "Glitterbomb."
