James Gandolfini, who starred as Tony Soprano in the HBO series ‘The Sopranos,’ died today (June 19) at the age of 51. The news of the beloved actor’s death has shocked his fans, including several prominent members of the rock + metal community.

According to reports, Gandolfini died of a heart attack while in Rome, Italy, where he was preparing to participate in the Taormina Film Fest in Sicily.
