Steel Panther have a hit on their hands with their latest release ‘Balls Out.’ The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Comedy Chart and landed at No. 38 on the Billboard Top 200. This serves as their highest charting release to date.

The first single from ‘Balls Out’ is the romantic little number ’17 Girls in a Row,’ rumored to be penned about escapades on the band’s last tour. Check out our reviews of the single and the album.

If you’re not familiar with Steel Panther, think of L.A.’s Sunset Strip circa 1989, throw it in a time capsule, bury it, and open it in the present day. The results: a lot of hair, a lot of spandex and enough sexual innuendo to power the Titanic. Tongue-in-cheek lyrics set to shredding guitar riffs bring the forgotten era back to life with tales of lust, heavy metal and a laugh or two.

Check back with Loudwire next week for our exclusive interview with Steel Panther bassist Lexxi Foxx.
