Steel Panther Time Travel to New York City in Their ‘Supersonic Sex Machine’
New York City is no stranger to the delights and glamour of Steel Panther and on Tuesday night (April 23) fans got a blast of hair metal goodness at Irving Plaza.
The band kicked off their set with ‘Supersonic Sex Machine,’ ‘Tomorrow Night’ and ‘Fat Girl (Thar She Blows),’ as their loyal fans sang along to each tune.
Steel Panther also performed favorites such as ‘Asian Hooker,’ ‘Death to All But Metal,’’Eyes of a Panther’ and ’17 Girls in a Row,’ among many others.
In between songs, it turned into a comedy show as the band put concertgoers on the spot with their vulgarity and hilarity. Beyond the spandex and big hair, the talent of the band is undeniable. Drummer Stix Zadinia pounded away behind the kit while guitarist Satchel provided some serious riffage, frontman Michael Starr belted out some massive high notes and bassist Lexxi Foxx…well he just looked fabulous.
Steel Panther will continue to wreak havoc on the States this spring. To see their full itinerary, go here.
