Sum 41 are back with a brand new song and music video! In the new clip for “Fake My Own Death,” Sum 41 perform in front of a construction site while Internet memes and freaky creatures attack the band members.

It’s been a long road for Sum 41 since releasing Screaming Bloody Murder back in 2011. Longtime drummer Steve Jocz departed from the band shortly before frontman Deryck Whibley spent months in the hospital for serious alcohol-related issues. During Deryck’s recovery, Sum 41 welcomed back beloved guitarist Dave "Brownsound" Baksh into the fold and recorded 13 Voices, which will see an Oct. 7 release.

"I had to learn how to do everything again -- my motor skills, learning how to play guitar again... I couldn't even walk at the time," Whibley recalls. "It was really difficult, but at the same time if I didn't have a record to make, I don't think I would have recovered as quickly. Writing music gave me a purpose. I had to get better."

In “Fake My Own Death,” Whibley looks and sounds revitalized, while the new song has been getting stellar feedback from Sum 41 fans. “Today is the day, we can’t wait any longer!” writes Whibley.” You guys have been so patient and so awesome. We wanted you to have this, even though we’re still putting the final touches on the album and haven’t officially picked the first single yet... a new song with a video so you can see what the f— we’re up to these days! Thank you all for being so patient! This one is for all the skumfuks! 13 VOICES will be screaming on OCT. 7!

“Fake My Own Death” sees Sum 41 in a frenzy to escape from Kim Kardashian’s “break the Internet” photo, Angry Birds, Bill Cosby with the body of Chef from South Park and many more destructive forces. If you look closely, you’ll even see an edit of Bernie Sanders punching Donald Trump in the face.
