Five Finger Death Punch have been teasing a special guest for their new album and during their performance at the 2013 Revolver Golden Gods ceremony they finally unveiled that none other than the "Metal God" himself, Rob Halford, was appearing on their new single, 'Lift Me Up.' The cane-wielding vocalist took the stage to perform alongside Ivan Moody, delivering the hard-hitting single with aplomb. The performance can be seen above.
In a cavalcade of legendary musicians, the 2009 action-adventure game Brutal Legend features a beastly amount of vocal cameos. Although the game's main character Eddie Riggs (named after Iron Maiden mascot Eddie the Head) is voiced by Tenacious D's Jack Black, that's only the beginning of Brutal Legend's killer lineup.
Two of metal's greatest vocalists go toe-to-toe in the semifinals of our President of Heavy Metal election. The infinitely ordained 'Metal God' in Judas Priest's Rob Halford has been a favorite from the start, having taken Lamb of God's Randy Blythe and Slayer shredder Kerry King out of the running. The 'Screaming For Vengeance' legend is now set to face the 'Bark at the Moon' icon.
In this next matchup, we've got arguably the two greatest chrome-domed metal musicians in history. Enter Rob Halford, the 'Metal God' and singer for Judas Priest. Halford possesses one of metal's most celebrated and versatile voices, and at the age of 61, Halford's voice remains incredible. Surely, he's a favorite among these heavy metal candidates.
