It's always great when bands can bring up a guest collaborator from their album during a tour stop and that's exactly what happened when Adrenaline Mob took the stage during a recent show in Nashville. Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale made a surprise appearance, reprising her vocals on 'Come Undone' from the band's debut album 'Omerta' and then sticking around to cover Heart's 'Barracuda.'
Adrenaline Mob drummer Mike Portnoy is stepping up to help one of his dearest friends in a time of need and he's got a number of his rock and roll peers to help out as well. The 'Mike Portnoy Celebrity Cymbal Fundraising Raffle' will raise funds for Portnoy's friend, who had his life changed forever when a fall left him paralyzed from the chest down.
Adrenaline Mob have just unleashed a great new covers EP titled 'Coverta.' Now, the band is teaming up with Loudwire for a series of videos taking fans behind the scenes of the covers collection and we kick things off with this impressive video of the band in the studio tracking their version of Heart's 'Barracuda.'
Adrenaline Mob are going the covers route before approaching their next official studio album. The band's latest EP is titled 'Coverta,' featuring eight rocking cover songs. The timing works out well for the supergroup, as they've also announced their first North American tour dates of 2013.
