Fans lucky enough to attend last night's taping of ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' were treated to an outdoor gig by Alice in Chains. The televised portion of the show aired AIC's performance of their current single 'Stone' off their upcoming album 'The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here.' However, the band also rocked out their classic track 'Man in the Box' and their new album's first single, 'Hollow,' with the video of both posted on the official 'Kimmel' website. To amp fans up for Alice in Chains' next album, 'The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here' (due May 28), a hilarious mockumentary called 'AIC 23' has been released by Funny or Die. The flick includes a great storyline, along with cameos from members of Metallica, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Guns N' Roses + more!
Seattle will be well represented whenever Heart enters the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next month. It was previously revealed that Soundgarden's Chris Cornell would induct the classic rock band, and now it has been announced that fellow Seattle music vets Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains and guitarist Mike McCready from Pearl Jam will perform with Heart at the induction ceremony.

Alice in Chains have unveiled the official release date, cover art and track listing for their fifth studio album, 'The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here.' The new Alice in Chains disc will become available on May 28 (not May 14, as previously reported), and guitarist Jerry Cantrell has offered some interesting insight on the concept behind the disc's name and its title track.
Festival season just got a great new addition, as a number of top rock bands will add San Antonio to their itinerary in late May. The inaugural Bud Light River City Rockfest will take place on the grounds of the AT&T Center in San Antonio on May 26th with Guns N' Roses and Alice in Chains serving as the day's headliners.
