We've got yet another year-end list for you! To help round off the year with some expert opinions on 2013, we've got an exclusive from each member of Megadeth. That's right, Dave Mustaine, David Ellefson, Chris Broderick and Shawn Drover have all submitted their Top 5 albums or songs of 2013!

As 2013 draws to a close, we look back on the many stories, triumphs and tragedies that affected us all this year. We were shocked by some, disgusted by others, inspired by many and even reduced to tears at times. There were many headlines in the worlds of rock and metal in 2013, but these are the stories that made us stop in our tracks.

The rock lifestyle isn't all just sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll. Countless musicians use their celebrity status as a platform to reach out and help those in need. Those lucky enough to make a living off of being in a band often give back via charities they create or support.
The video format is still alive and well in 2013, and a number of top rockers used it to the best of their ability to further the promotion of their music. Some acts went to great lengths with their clips, turning things over to directors to create elaborate animated videos. Others went the more traditional format with a full-on narrative to deliver their message.
The music video used to be the most crucial medium for a band to gain exposure back when the M in MTV stood for "music."
