Megadeth guru Dave Mustaine was the lead guest on last night's episode of 'That Metal Show' (Dec. 3). He spoke about having to have neck surgery, which almost cost the band its appearance at the Big Four show in New York in September. Mustaine soldiered on with the heart of a champion and played through the pain. He has had the surgery, is feeling better and even showed the scar last night. How metal!

While some rockers including Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello support the Occupy Wall Street movement, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine considers the protest a sham and accuses President Barack Obama of contributing to the turmoil by being “the most divisive president we’ve ever had.”
Megadeth's Dave Mustaine Chats With Full Metal Jackie
The animosity between Metallica and Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has been one of the most legendary feuds in heavy metal history. Mustaine was kicked out of Metallica in 1983 due to his struggles with alcohol, drugs and frequent clashes with band members, some of which resulted in violence. He has remained bitter about the split ever since, famously documented in the 2004 Metallica documentary, 'Some Kind of Monster.' However, after 28 years of tension between the two bands, Mustaine may have finally buried the hatchet with his Metallica replacement, guitarist Kirk Hammett.
