As co-founder of Megadeth and longtime collaborator of Dave Mustaine, bassist David Ellefson has quite a life story to tell and that’s just what he’s offering up in his upcoming memoir ‘My Life With Deth.' Ellefson penned the autobiography over the last year with the assistance of writer Joel McIver and it's due out on Oct. 29 through Howard Books.

The founding Megadeth musician is approaching the band's 30th anniversary along with frontman Dave Mustaine, the only other original member still with the legendary thrash act. The memoir, 'My Life With Deth,' will tackle subjects such as the band's road to iconic status, addiction and much more.
So, what do the guys of Megadeth do before a big show? Apparently, they search desperately for a Starbucks. Megadeth bassist David Ellefson just posted some behind-the-scenes footage from the band’s June 25 concert at Stadium Live in Moscow, Russia, and much of the clip involves Ellefson and Megadeth guitarist Chris Broderick searching for a spot to fill their cup of java. Killing may be his business, but Megadeth bassist Dave Ellefson is venturing into the world of saving, as he is studying to become a Lutheran pastor. The veteran rocker has been taking a two-year program at the Concordia Seminary in Clayton, Mo., to achieve his goal of spreading God's word.
