Emmure have seen their star rise in recent years and the band is looking to make a big jump this year with their new release, 'Eternal Enemies.' Founding Emmure guitarist Ben Lionetti left the band in 2009 and he's apparently not thrilled with the direction the group has taken since his exit. The rocker posted a full-on tongue lashing against the band and in particular frontman Frankie Palmeri.

Emmure are ready to emerge from the studio. The group just announced that their new album, 'Eternal Enemies,' will see an April 15 release via Victory Records.

The date and most of the lineup for the 2014 Extreme Thing Sports & Music Festival have been announced. The annual event will take place March 29, 2014 at Desert Breeze Park in Las Vegas.

Asking Alexandria have just unveiled details for a month-long U.S. tour beginning Oct. 25. Along for the ride is Sevendust, All that Remains, For Today and Emmure, creating a group of highly celebrated acts to support Asking Alexandria.

As Asking Alexandria gear up to release their new disc ‘From Death to Destiny' on Aug. 6 via Sumerian Records, the band is already planning for the future with a monstrous North American Tour run in the works. The trek will mark their biggest headlining U.S. tour to date and will feature quite a lineup of heavy hitters from the rock and metal genres.

The 2013 Mayhem Festival made a stop in Hartford, Conn., over the weekend where metal heads came together to celebrate all different sub-genres of heavy music. The Musicians Institute Stage had one of the most eclectic line-ups of the bill.

New York City-based Emmure has a busy summer ahead, playing on the Rockstar Mayhem Fest and then heading off around the world on several other runs before settling back home at the end of the year to start work on a new record. Loudwire caught up with the metal outfit’s ferocious frontman, Frankie Palmeri, at Mayhem’s kickoff show recently in San Bernardino, Calif.

The Musicians Institute Stage at the 2013 Mayhem Festival kickoff in San Bernardino, Calif. was as scorching as the 100-plus degree heat all day long. Fans gathered around to catch a mixture of veteran bands and younger metal rockers, including Children of Bodom, Emmure, Born of Osiris, Motionless in White, Attika 7 and Thrown Into Exile.

Traveling to Russia is a memorable enough experience for most bands, but Emmure's Frankie Palmeri will remember his Moscow performance Tuesday (May 7) as the night he got electrocuted onstage.
