It was 2007 and metal had grown somewhat stagnant when Five Finger Death Punch came along to give it a jolt. Influenced by the metal greats of their youth, the five-piece band came out of nowhere to deliver the breakout album 'The Way of the Fist.'
Five Finger Death Punch recently announced their plans to release a new video that would aid in suicide prevention. That video, for their song ‘Coming Down,’ premiered today (June 12) and can be seen below.
Five Finger Death Punch are known for their heavy grooves and angst-y vocals, but the gents have also earned a good reputation for performing regularly for the U.S. troops overseas. The guys were recently in Iraq, and drummer Jeremy Spencer says it’s an experience they wouldn’t trade for anything.
In 2009, Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory caused a stir when he was reported to have been missing just days before the band was suppose to head out on tour. Loudwire had the chance to talk to Bathory about the incident when we caught up with him during this year's Rock on the Range festival in Columbus, Ohio.
