The lineup for the two-day 2014 Monster Energy's Welcome to Rockville Festival at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, Fla., has been announced, and it features an all-star lineup of today biggest rock acts. Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, Alter Bridge, Five Finger Death Punch and Rob Zombie are among the many bands set to rock the annual event.
Earlier this year, Five Finger Death Punch carried out one of their musical aspirations collaborating with the one and only Metal God, Rob Halford of Judas Priest, on their song ‘Lift Me Up.’ The tune served as the first single from ‘The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1,’ released back in July.
What happens when a couple of good ol' boys head to Cali-forn-i-a in search of rock stardom? That's what we find out in 'The Adventures of Uncle Colt & Cletus: Hedge-Hoggin,' the new web film from Five Finger Death Punch drummer Jeremy Spencer and director Nathan Cox that's being released by Dumb & Drummer Productions. The flick is premiering right here on Loudwire (watch above).
Five Finger Death Punch drummer Jeremy Spencer is a busy man these days. Not only does he have two new albums out with 5FDP and his autobiography on the way, but he's set to premiere a short comedic film based upon two characters that he and his drum tech Bobby "Rockshow" Watson created. In fact, the film, 'The Adventures of Uncle Colt & Cletus: Hedge-Hoggin',' will premiere on Loudwire this Friday (Nov. 29) at 9PM ET/8PM CT.
The second part of Five Finger Death Punch's 'The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell' will be released Nov. 19 and you can get an early listen. From now through the release date, the album is streaming in full on iTunes Radio.
It's beginning to look like Five Finger Death Punch will bring back the 'Trespass America' tour for a 2014 run. But before that happens, they want to hear from the fans to see what they want. The festival's Facebook page has openly been naming bands that the members of Five Finger Death Punch like to gauge fan interest before booking the trek.
Five Finger Death Punch fans know that the band and its members relay honesty through their music, lyrics and live performance. When we sat down with drummer Jeremy Spencer, he spoke very honestly about an autobiography he is currently working on.
