The worlds of hard rock and electronic music don't cross paths that frequently, but at Canada's upcoming Boonstock festival, there will be a full-on collision of the two genres. Booked for June 27-30 over the Canada Day weekend, the festival will take place in Gibbons, Alberta, with Godsmack, Limp Bizkit and Sebastian Bach leading the way.
Godsmack's Sully Erna is proud of his deeply personal solo record 'Avalon,' so much so that he's planned special trips for a handful of fans that purchased the box set edition of his disc. Rock fans from all different lands traveled far and wide to set sail on the MSC Poesia for the most hard-rocking adventure at sea that is ShipRocked 2012. The boat and about 2,000 rock enthusiasts sailed from Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., on Tuesday Nov. 27, and luckily Loudwire was on-hand to witness the adventure.
