Filming is about to get underway on the upcoming movie 'Army of the Damned' with Godsmack's Sully Erna playing one of the lead roles. In the film, he's a police sheriff named Bridge who uncovers more than he bargained for when answering a domestic disturbance call. Erna, making his feature film debut, has been taking part in rehearsals and some of the first photos from the film with the singer in his role have surfaced online. They can be seen below.

The vocalist has signed on to make his feature film acting debut in the upcoming Woodhaven Pictures film 'Army of the Damned.'

Booked for June 27-30 over the Canada Day weekend, the festival will take place in Gibbons, Alberta, with Godsmack, Limp Bizkit and Sebastian Bach leading the way.
