Gojira's critically acclaimed album 'L'Enfant Sauvage' dropped in 2012, and the French metal band toured the world to support it. On March 11, a limited edition hardcover photo book will be released that chronicles the more than 150 shows on three continents during the album's tour cycle. The photos were selected by Gojira's Joe and Mario Duplantier.

Gojira have become one of the most respected acts in metal today. While on their latest tour, which happened to be with Slayer (see our recap and photos of the NYC show), we had the opportunity to sit down with frontman Joe Duplantier, who talked about bands he has hit the road with who've left a long-lasting impact on him.
French metal act Gojira spent much of 2013 on the road in promotion of their critically acclaimed 2012 album ‘L’Enfant Sauvage.’ The band started the year off with a headlining tour and rounded off the year on a massive trek with Slayer. 2014 is slated to be a big year for the band, as well, with frontman Joe Duplantier revealing plans for the band to work on a new album.
When we spoke with Gojira frontman Joe Duplantier during their tour stop in New York City, he talked about the success of the French metal act's latest album, 'L'Enfant Sauvage,' which we documented in our recent interview feature. During that same interview, he also discussed some of his musical influences growing up and his fondness for using a certain French curse word.
It’s no surprise that Gojira’s latest album ‘L’Enfant Sauvage’ has taken metal fans by storm. The band has been touring nonstop in support of the record and is even up for a few Golden Gods Awards this year.
