Swedish metallers In Flames are enjoying life on the road, and even though they've started thinking about a new record, it's likely that nothing will happen until the touring support for the 'Sounds of a Playground Fading' disc starts to wane.
Get ready for more heavy metal on the high seas -- 70,000 tons to be exact. This January, 40 hard-hitting metal bands, including Lacuna Coil and In Flames, and a literal boatload of fans will set sail in the Caribbean for the third edition of the 70,000 Tons of Metal festival.
In Flames are currently touring nonstop in support of their latest record ‘Sounds of a Playground Fading.' They kicked off the year with a co-headlining tour with Trivium. In a recent exclusive chat with frontman Anders Friden, he revealed that his sweet tooth doesn’t take a break while he is on the road and that when he isn’t touring he loves to golf and cook.

The audience at last night's (Feb. 9) Albuquerque, N.M., stop on the In Flames and Trivium tour missed out on seeing the full experience, due to a bomb threat that forced In Flames to cut their set short before completing their final song of the show.
