With the release date of his debut album ‘Memories of a Beautiful Disaster’ creeping up (Nov. 21), James Durbin and his monstrous vocal chops have been making the rounds. On a recent trip to Fox News, American Idol’s Season 10 metal castaway performed a beautiful acoustic rendition of his latest single, ‘Love Me Bad.’
James Durbin, the 'American Idol' heavy metal castaway, has released another single, ‘Love Me Bad,’ from his debut album on Wind-Up Records, ‘Memories of a Beautiful Disaster,’ due out on Nov. 21. The tune is being promoted as Durbin's pop single, as it follows the rock single 'Stand Up.'
James Durbin was the 'American Idol' contestant who brought real, live heavy metal to the 'Idol' stage. During the Season 10 finale, Durbin even performed live with Judas Priest. We never thought we'd see the day that Priest would commandeer the 'Idol' stage, but Durbin helped make it a reality. The singer may not have won the competition, but his career continues to soar, as he has just signed a deal with Wind-up Records, home to the likes of Creed and Seether.
