After already touring Europe and Russia earlier this year, a new batch of legends have been recruited for an upcoming string of 2014 dates.
James LaBrie has been a bit of a workhorse lately, with Dream Theater's eponymous album and his solo disc 'Impermanent Resonance' both having hit shelves in 2013. Now, he's set to release a nine-song digital EP named after the opening track on his solo album.
The effort will not feature any brand-new songs, but will boast a number of gems and unheard remixes that fans will surely love to get their hands on.
Progressive metal champions Dream Theater are poised to release their latest album, a self-titled effort, next month, marking the group's second disc with drummer Mike Mangini. As we all know, Mangini replaced former drummer Mike Portnoy, who left the band then attempted to return but was rebuffed. With Portnoy recently again saying he would return to the band in a heartbeat if asked, frontman James Labrie has weighed in on the matter.
Dream Theater vocalist James LaBrie is currently working on his next solo album, which will be his third release under the James LaBrie name. After Dream Theater's monster year in 2011, which included their first ever Grammy nomination, LaBrie spoke with Attention Deficit Delirium about the progression of his latest project.
