Job for a Cowboy
Connecticut got rocked this past weekend as one of the summer’s biggest metal tours made a stop in Hartford. Fans kicked up some serious dirt while moshing outside in the lot of the Comcast Theater and rocking to the numerous band that graced the Jagermeister Stage.
Job for a Cowboy have spent the last decade building their name and they've been seeing their fan base grow with each album, with 2012's 'Demonocracy' one of their most solid records to date. This summer, the band is finishing off support of the disc while playing the 2013 Mayhem Festival -- their second time appearing on the popular metal tour -- and they're just starting to get ideas together for their fourth album.
Hatebreed are really taking to the road in early 2013. The Connecticut hardcore outfit are about to finish a current string of dates with Shadows Fall, Dying Fetus and the Contortionist, but after only a small amount of time to relax along with a handful of international dates, Hatebreed will hit the U.S. highways once again beginning April 9.
We recently had a chance to speak with Job for a Cowboy vocalist Jonny Davy. As metal fans crammed into the tiny outdoor smoking area at New York City's Irving Plaza, they got a first-hand look at our interview with Davy as we chatted with the deathcore vocal pioneer shortly after Job for a Cowboy's set.
