Sweden's melancholic dark rock act Katatonia have just revealed the track listing for 'The Fall of Hearts' and a clip of new music.

Katatonia have just announced 'The Fall of Hearts,' their first new album since 2012 as well as their new guitarist, who joined just in time for the recording.

Katatonia have welcomed a new drummer just as they prepare to start on a new album, but they've opened the search for a new guitarist.

Unfortunate news from Katatonia: Longtime drummer Daniel Liljekvist has left the band. In a statement posted on Katatonia's official website earlier today, Liljekvist notes that he's no longer able to "combine job, family and commit 100% to Katatonia."

As Boston was able to finally catch its breath, metalheads continued to make their way to the Palladium for Day 2 of this year’s New England Metal and Hardcore Festival on Saturday (April 20).

Praise the metal gods! Swedish progressive metal masters Opeth will grace North America once again in the spring with a solid amount of tour dates. Beginning on April 18, Opeth will begin their string of dates, bringing fellow Swedish prog veterans Katatonia along for the entire trek.
