Last year, Killswitch Engage fans wondered if the band would continue to rock their world after original vocalist Jesse Leach returned to the fold following the departure of Howard Jones?" With the release of Killswitch's new album, 'Disarm the Descent,' the majority ruled with a resounding "Yes!"
Killswitch Engage have just announced their first headlining tour to support the band's newest full-length album, 'Disarm the Descent.' If Killswitch alone doesn't quench your metalcore thirst, As I Lay Dying will join the band for the string of dates along with Miss May I and Affiance.

Killswitch Engage have just unleashed their new album ‘Disarm the Descent,’ which features the return of the band's original vocalist Jesse Leach. Now, the band is gearing up for a trek all over Europe in promotion of the new disc.

As I Lay Dying are halfway to their first induction into the Death Match Hall of Fame. Although Jesse Leach has been killing it with Killswitch Engage ever since his return to the band last year, it's safe to say that the voice of Howard Jones is sorely missed in the rock world. Jones left Killswitch Engage so he could manage his Type 2 Diabetes more efficiently, among other reasons. He has been jamming with his old math core band Blood Has Been Shed, but now it's been reported that Jones is working on yet another project with members of All Shall Perish and Devolved.
Yet another massive festival has just been announced to take place in the good ol' U.S.A. On May 11, a total of 15 bands, including Alice in Chains, Killswitch Engage, Papa Roach, Device and more, will descend upon Kansas City, Mo., for the city's annual Rockfest.
