Killswitch Engage have just announced their first headlining tour to support the band's newest full-length album, 'Disarm the Descent.' If Killswitch alone doesn't quench your metalcore thirst, As I Lay Dying will join the band for the string of dates along with Miss May I and Affiance.
Whether you know Adam Dutkiewicz as Adam D. or “Big Dude,” he is well known as a songwriter, producer and multitalented instrumentalist, as well as the very energetic and entertaining guitarist of Killswitch Engage.
Killswitch Engage have just unleashed their new album ‘Disarm the Descent,’ which features the return of the band's original vocalist Jesse Leach. Now, the band is gearing up for a trek all over Europe in promotion of the new disc.
Killswitch Engage have returned in a big way -- not only with their new album ‘Disarm the Descent,’ but also with original frontman Jesse Leach. The new disc is Leach’s first album with the band since 2002’s ‘Alive or Just Breathing.’
It's almost here, Killswitch Engage fans! The band's long-awaited 'Disarm the Descent' album, their first full-length release since original frontman Jesse Leach returned to the band, arrives April 2, but luckily you can hear it now in its entirety a week before its release.
As I Lay Dying are halfway to their first induction into the Death Match Hall of Fame. Riding off a win against The Dillinger Escape Plan, As I Lay Dying's 'No Lungs to Breathe' needs two more wins before being declared immortal in our Death Match Hall of Fame. The American metalcore outfit have come close in the past, and they have another chance with this latest run, but first, the West Coast metal outfit has to defeat an East Coast powerhouse.
Although Jesse Leach has been killing it with Killswitch Engage ever since his return to the band last year, it's safe to say that the voice of Howard Jones is sorely missed in the rock world. Jones left Killswitch Engage so he could manage his Type 2 Diabetes more efficiently, among other reasons. He has been jamming with his old math core band Blood Has Been Shed, but now it's been reported that Jones is working on yet another project with members of All Shall Perish and Devolved.
Yet another massive festival has just been announced to take place in the good ol' U.S.A. On May 11, a total of 15 bands, including Alice in Chains, Killswitch Engage, Papa Roach, Device and more, will descend upon Kansas City, Mo., for the city's annual Rockfest.
Killswitch Engage are having a great time with the return of frontman Jesse Leach and that's definitely apparent in the band's new video for 'In Due Time.' The song is the lead single from the group's forthcoming album, 'Disarm the Descent,' due April 2.
