The band arrived on the scene with their 1976 self-titled debut and despite their young age and gender, both of which presented barriers at the time, they went toe-to-toe with many of the male-driven acts of the day.

'That Metal Show' will lean a little more on the classic rock side this week as Foreigner's Mick Jones and Mountain guitar great Leslie West will join Eddie Trunk, Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine for interviews. Meanwhile, Lita Ford will lay down some blistering licks as the special music guest.

Former Runaways members Lita Ford and Cherie Currie played together for the first time in more than 30 years this past October.
