Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe is expected to be bailed out of a Czech jail today (Monday) after spending much of the past week behind bars over an alleged manslaughter charge relating to a concert incident two years ago. The shocking news has sent shockwaves through the metal world, and a number of the bands on this year's Mayhem Tour offered their thoughts on the incident when Loudwire caught up with them at the trek's kickoff show this past weekend.

Most of us haven't bought into the whole 2012 apocalypse thing, but with the amount of metal festivals that are being held on cruise ships this winter, we're starting to think that the metal gods know something we don't.
When the 2012 Mayhem Festival lineup was announced, it seemed to be lacking one of the largely rumored bands, Motorhead. While Slipknot, Slayer, and Anthrax were on the official roster, Motorhead was not, much to the dismay of metal fans everywhere. However, the festival did hold out the promise that a special guest would be announced later on and it was speculated that it would probably be Motorhead.
It’s that time of year again when chaos is celebrated. This year’s Mayhem Festival tour stop in New Jersey’s PNC Bank Arts Center was headlined by bands such as Disturbed, Godsmack, Megadeth and Trivium -- and that was only the main stage. The Jagermeister stage featured Red Fang, Kingdom of Sorrow, Unearth and In Flames, while the Revolver stage had acts such as All Shall Perish, Suicide Silence, Machine Head and much more.
