Muir spoke all about the band’s latest disc, ‘13,’ as well as their approach to creating music. The band members will get to throw out the first pitch before Friday's game and perform the National Anthem for the audience, but even before the fun on the field, the group connected with one of their favorite Giants players.

Metallica have their hands full with a number of various projects, and now the band has unveiled 'huge' details about the release of their 3D film 'Metallica Through the Never.' The band has announced that the film will open in theaters Sept. 27, playing on IMAX screens across the U.S. for a full week.
Metallica are currently in the process of moving on to their next record, but drummer Lars Ulrich recognizes exactly what their past release, 'Death Magnetic,' has meant to their career. Speaking with United Arab Emirates paper The National, the drummer says that the disc may be a difficult one to follow, but he feels up to the challenge.
