It's been a busy year for Corey Taylor, who not only is promoting Stone Sour's upcoming 'House of Gold & Bones Part 2' album, but has also enjoyed some extra recognition for his collaboration with Dave Grohl, Rick Nielsen and Scott Reeder on the single 'From Can to Can't' that's part of the soundtrack for Grohl's 'Sound City' documentary. Loudwire recently spoke with Taylor, who revealed that he's thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with Grohl and still has a few names on his dream collaborator list.
In 2009, it appeared as though Nine Inch Nails' days as a touring band were coming to an end as Trent Reznor had revealed plans to retire from the road. The band played their epic "final show" on Sept. 10, 2009 and said their farewells, but luckily there were some fans around to capture the event for posterity and now a fan-made documentary has surfaced.
How to Destroy Angels are getting ready to play their first shows as a band, and it's always helpful to be fully staffed. The band, which features Trent Reznor, Mariqueen Maandig, Atticus Ross and Rob Sheridan among its ranks, just added another familiar face in Reznor's Nine Inch Nails cohort, Alessandro Cortini.
