Could we eventually see more beyond 2013's self-titled EP?

Palms have just unveiled their new video for 'Mission Sunset,' but it's actually more of a short film. Clocking in at just under 10 minutes, the film follows a man in distress as the tales of his tragic love life unfold.

In their respective bands, Deftones frontman Chino Moreno and former Isis members Bryant Clifford Meyer, Jeff Caxide and Aaron Harris have touched on atmospheric rock, but nothing compares to the ebb and flow they pulled off throughout their first dates as members of the new outfit Palms.

The loss of post-metal titans Isis was an unfortunate punch to the gut for fans of the imaginative and atmospheric quintet. Chino Moreno may be going strong with Deftones, but this summer fans will be treated to his more atmospheric and moody side as he rocks out with his friends from Isis in the new band Palms. The group's self-titled debut is due June 25 via Ipecac Recordings and the album artwork and track listing for the effort have now surfaced.

Chino Moreno has more than Deftones on his plate these days, and fans are now getting a chance to check out some music from his side group Palms. Moreno was recruited to sing on the album by three of the former members of Isis, who are also part of the group. Now the first song 'Patagonia,' from their self-titled effort has surfaced online.
