From the moment industrial metal act Rammstein emerged from Eastern Germany in 1995, they were on fire – literally -- with frontman/stuntman Till Lindemann wearing flame-retardent outfits, doused in lighter fluid and set ablaze.
Rammstein are incredibly active this week. The German industrial aggro warriors announced a North American tour set to take place this spring and now they've released behind-the-scenes footage from their campy, beach-set 'Mein Land' video.
Rammstein played one of their only U.S. shows in a decade at Madison Square Garden in December 2010, a spectacle that sold out in a mere 30 minutes, given the fact that it was the first time the fire-breathing Germans stepped foot on American soil in a long, long time.
Beach Blanket Rammstein? The veteran German industrial metal act has released a new single titled ‘Mein Land’ and a campy new video to accompany. The new tune is from the band’s upcoming retrospective release ‘Made In Germany 1995 – 2011,’ due out on Dec. 13.
Rammstein are Germany's most famous purveyors of subversive, industrial aggro and they are about to make fans incredibly happy, thanks to a career retrospective, dubbed 'Made in Germany 1995-2011.' The release is set to drop on Dec. 6 via Vagrant Records.
