As the summer gives way to fall, it's good to know that there's still some good times to be had and solid hard rock to be consumed at the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival. The trek just launched, but before things got underway singers Sully Erna from Godsmack, Brent Smith from Shinedown, and Rick DeJesus from Adelitas Way took part in a chat about the event at the Rockstar Uproar festival website.

Shinedown had some fun with their rider during a 2009 tour, where they paid tribute to the famous Foo Fighters rider by requesting assorted sugary cereals, but not the ones from "the Color Me Badd reunion show last night," and Van Halen's legendary brown M&Ms request by demanding the purple Skittles be removed from the fruity mix, because according to the band, "Purple is for terrorists."

Shinedown recently launched a revolution to bring rock music back to the forefront. With frontman Brent Smith leading the charge, he challenged fans to stand up and put their fists in the air for rock and with the band’s latest release ‘Amaryllis’ now out, Smith and Shinedown are proving to be worthy adversaries for the cause.
