Sick Puppies fans can begin circling the middle of July on their calendars as not only will the band's 'Connect' album finally arrive in stores on July 16, but the group also just shot a live performance for Walmart customers. The trio was in Los Angeles' Tuesday night (July 2) to film a set for that will turn up on the Walmart Soundcheck Risers website July 15, a day ahead of the 'Connect' album'

Bassist Emma Anzai’s story with Sick Puppies is a pretty interesting one. The band formed when she and current bandmate Shimon Moore both booked a practice room for the same time at their high school. They decided to jam together and a band was born.

Sick Puppies are inching closer to their return and bassist Emma Anzai has checked in with an update on their album progress. Anzai reveals that the group has been extremely productive coming up with new material and they're in the process of narrowing down that tracks that will make the final disc.

Whoever said that good things come in threes was obviously referring to the pack of trios that provide the core lineup of the ‘Triple Threat’ Tour. Headlined by the trio Seether with support by fellow three-piece acts Sick Puppies and Kyng, there’s a lot to love about the number three. Of course, opening quintet Young Guns broke the 'three' chain, but more of that later.
