Stone Sour‘s ‘House of Gold & Bones Part 1′ is set to be released Oct. 23 as the first of a two part concept album, with the second part expected in May of 2013. He spoke all the hard work Stone Sour put into their double concept album ‘House of Gold & Bones - Part 1’ and ‘Part 2,’ as well as this year’s first installment of Knotfest and how long Slipknot fans will need to wait for new music. Slipknot / Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor wears many hats, or masks as the case may be. He added author to his resume last summer when he released his first book 'Seven Deadly Sins: Settling the Argument Between Born Bad and Damaged Goods.’ Taylor seems to have caught the writing bug and has now confirmed that he’s been working on a second book.
Stone Sour may have taken a little bit of a break between records, but they're definitely making up for it with a double dose of new songs. 'Gone Sovereign' and 'Absolute Zero' are interconnected tracks that show exactly how hard-hitting their upcoming album 'The House of Gold and Bones Part I' can be.
