Just as In This Moment were on the brink of entering the Cage Match Hall of Fame, Arizona metalcore band the Word Alive were able to knock the band off of their top spot. Now, the Word Alive begin their own trek to the Hall of Fame, but to gain their second win, they must defeat a group of rock 'n' roll juggernauts from merry old England.

The Darkness on Reunion + New Album
We recently had the pleasure of interviewing Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins and drummer Ed Graham. At the end of a captivating conversation with half of the British rock giants, the duo reminisced about some of their most memorable encounters with fans, which included signing a man's rump and penning an autograph on the testicles of a stuffed family dog.
As a part of their illustrious comeback after a five-year hiatus, British rockers the Darkness have chosen to celebrate the occasion by dropping their very own dung onto the iconic Edward Munch painting 'The Scream.' Luckily for all of us, the fine people at Funny or Die were there to document the "artistic statement."
With anticipation building for their first album since 2005, the Darkness have debuted the lyric video for the song ‘Every Inch of You' from their upcoming ‘Hot Cakes’ disc (due Aug. 21). The first single and video from the album, ‘Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us’ was released earlier this year. In addition, the full track list for ‘Hot Cakes’ has also been released.
The Darkness have come out of retirement and will issue their third album sometime this year. Singer Justin Hawkins shared details about the unusual recording process for the release, as half was recorded in England and the other half in Nashville. There was a break in between sessions, since the band hit the festival circuit in Europe last summer to wear away any road rust.
