After a bit of an extended break, the Darkness returned in August with their latest disc ‘Hot Cakes,’ the follow-up to 2005's 'One Way Ticket to Hell... and Back.' Now, as if making up for lost time, the band is plotting to take their tasty musical treats out on the road again for a 2013 headlining run that will span 15 countries.

In a new interview, guitarist Dan Hawkins talks about playing in a band with his brother Justin and owning a custom Les Paul that was made for the legendary Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin fame.
Just as In This Moment were on the brink of entering the Cage Match Hall of Fame, Arizona metalcore band the Word Alive were able to knock the band off of their top spot. Now, the Word Alive begin their own trek to the Hall of Fame, but to gain their second win, they must defeat a group of rock 'n' roll juggernauts from merry old England.
The Darkness on Reunion + New Album
We recently had the pleasure of interviewing Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins and drummer Ed Graham. At the end of a captivating conversation with half of the British rock giants, the duo reminisced about some of their most memorable encounters with fans, which included signing a man's rump and penning an autograph on the testicles of a stuffed family dog.
As a part of their illustrious comeback after a five-year hiatus, British rockers the Darkness have chosen to celebrate the occasion by dropping their very own dung onto the iconic Edward Munch painting 'The Scream.' Luckily for all of us, the fine people at Funny or Die were there to document the "artistic statement."
