Three Days Grace announced back at the beginning of June that their new disc ‘Transit of Venus’ will make its way into fans' earthly hands on Oct. 2, and now the band is sharing that the first single will be a track called ‘Chalk Outline.’
Canadian rock outfit Three Days Grace make the list with ‘Animal I Have Become’ off of their sophomore record ‘One-X.’ With infectious riffs, deep bass line and melodic chorus, the song remains one of the band’s most well received tunes.
Three Days Grace have done a solid job building the suspense about their next album, 'Transit of Venus.' The front page of their website recently re-launched, borrowing a quote from Oliver Wendell Holmes, who explains, "A black round spot - and that is all; Such a speck our earth would be if he who looks upon the stars through the red atmosphere of Mars could see our little creeping ball."
Canadian rockers Three Days Grace have been using social networking to clue fans in on a big announcement that they were planning to drop today. As anticipated, the good news includes confirmation of the album title and a release date for their upcoming fourth studio disc.
Over the weekend, a never ending cavalcade of today’s hottest rock bands marched into the Luxor Festival Grounds and set up shop. The two-day '48 Hours Festival’ boasted two jam-packed days of 22 bands playing on two stages. The show marked the first outdoor hard rock and metal festival to descend on the Vegas Strip, and with any luck, the first of many.
The recently wrapped up Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival boasted a who’s who of some of today’s hottest rock and metal acts on the bill adding to its diverse appeal, but Shaun Morgan from Seether recently said he was feeling kind of like the black sheep of the tour sound wise.
Three Days Grace’s latest album, 2009’s ‘Life Starts Now,’ has evolved into one gigantic single, spawning angst-y, coming-of-age hard rock hits such as ‘The Good Life,’ ‘Break’ and ‘Lost in You.’ So, considering the album dropped a whole two years ago, when can fans expect more fist-pumping heavy music anthems? According to frontman Adam Gontier, a fresh set of songs may be out as early as 2012.
