Trivium have officially announced the release date for their highly anticipated new album 'Vengeance Falls.' The disc, which will drop Oct. 15 via Roadrunner Records, was produced by Disturbed / Device singer David Draiman.
With his multiplatinum band Disturbed on hiatus, singer David Draiman is making the most his time with a number of projects. In addition to fronting the new industrial-leaning group Device, he also recently lent his knob-twiddling skills to Trivium's upcoming album.
Trivium frontman Matt Heafy has been covering the Opeth song 'Harvest' at some recent solo acoustic shows, including one in New York that Loudwire reviewed. Now, a video of Heafy performing the song in a studio has been released. (watch below)
Trivium exploded into the collective consciousness of metalheads with their 2005 full-length, 'Ascendancy.' Along with the success of the record, came the cornerstone track 'Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr.'
With Trivium's Matt Heafy slated to perform an acoustic set at the Moscot Gallery and Music Space on the corner of Orchard and Delancey Street in New York City on Monday (Aug. 13) night, the 50 or so lucky fans who were clamoring to get in were in for a treat.
Trivium frontman Matt Heafy was the guest on Full Metal Jackie’s radio show this past weekend. Heafy spoke all about touring with Five Finger Death Punch and Killswitch Engage on the Trespass America Festival this summer, joining Trivium at the age of 12 and much more. If you missed Full Metal Jackie’s show, check out her interview with Matt Heafy below:
Trivium have great energy and chemistry when tearing up a stage, and they have been doing a lot of that while out on tour promoting their latest album ‘In Waves.’ But now we apparently know where that chemistry comes from.
Eight new bands have been added to the lineups for the Canadian Heavy MTL and Heavy T.O. festivals in August. Deftones, Dethklok, Voivod, Sword, Trivium, Emmure, Diemonds and Dance Laury Dance will perform at the shows in Toronto and Montreal.
