The Amity Affliction Plan Fall U.S. Tour with Chelsea Grin

Aussie metalcore mavens The Amity Affliction will be returning to U.S. shores for a fall headlining tour. The Seems Like Forever tour will also feature Chelsea Grin, Secrets, Cruel Hand and The Plot In You.

The trek is in support of the recent reissue of the Amity Affliction's Let the Ocean Take Me album. The special edition includes the original disc, two bonus tracks and a documentary that takes a look at the band's history from the beginning through the recording of the album. When the disc was initially released in June of last year, it landed at No. 31 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Chelsea Grin have been touring without guitarist Dan Jones this summer, who is taking a leave of absence to conduct scientific research. He's doing something perhaps no other metal musician has ever done, researching microbial mercury methylation at Salt Lake City, Utah’s Westminster College. The tour wraps up in Salt Lake City, so maybe he'll be able to break away from his studies for a night to pick up the guitar again.
