Turn it up and rock it out as the Dead Daisies are back on the scene with a raucous new song. The band, made up of a number of noteworthy musicians, is teaming up with Loudwire and Ultimate Classic Rock to exclusively premiere the new song "Last Time I Saw the Sun" from their aptly titled Make Some Noise album.

With some nasty guitars, an infectious beat and John Corabi's road-worn vocals, you've got an undeniable rocker that's a great foot-stomping introduction into the band's latest effort, Make Some Noise, which arrives on Aug. 5 through SPV.

In a recent discussion about the song, Corabi reveals that drummer Brian Tichy came up with the title and it's something that stuck with the band. The stickman revealed that it came to him sitting outside the tour bus in Germany. Guitarist Doug Aldrich says, "It's really indicative of our lifestyle too. I think we all can identify." Corabi added, "Lyrically, it's just about being on the road. It's just all this stuff of checking in and out of hotels and stages and people you meet."

As stated, The Dead Daisies' Make Some Noise album arrives on Aug. 5 via SPV. The album was recorded in Nashville with producer Marti Frederiksen earlier this year and contains 10 new tracks, plus covers of The Who's "Join Together" and Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Fortunate Son." But before the new album drops, you can pre-order it via a number of outlets at this location.

The Dead Daisies are Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio); John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, The Scream); David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink); Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy); and Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner).

The band is currently on tour in Europe, and will meet up with KISS for U.S. shows in August and September, followed by more dates in late fall in Europe with The Answer. See all of the Dead Daisies' upcoming dates here.
