The Dead Daisies are heading back to North America for tour dates this summer and they've dubbed their forthcoming run "The Dirty Dozen Tour."

The 12-date tour kicks off Aug. 10 in Chicago and wraps Aug. 27 in Las Vegas. As for the moniker for the trek, aside from the fact that there are 12 dates, the band drew their inspiration from The Dirty Dozen film for the title, adding, "Rehearse them, excite them, arm them -- then turn them loose on the fans!" This will be the group's first North American headline tour.

Lead singer John Corabi says, “We're all very excited for our very first North American headline run. We're kicking it all off on August 10th in Chicago and ending it in 'Sin City' Las Vegas!!! You guys have been amazing with all of your support and requests for shows here, so we're giving it to you LIVE AND LOUDER, and 'down and dirty' on 'The Dirty Dozen Tour 2017'!!!! See ya on the road kids!!!"

When they hit the road, the band will have already released their new concert-based album, Live and Louder. The disc is due May 19 via Spitfire Music, SPV and eOne.

In addition to the upcoming North American trek, the band also have dates booked in the U.K. and Europe, Japan, and South America. See all of their scheduled shows below. Tickets for "The Dirty Dozen" tour go on sale April 14 at this location.
