A video for the song ‘Born to Lose’ from Ohio-based metalcore outfit the Devil Wears Prada‘s new album, ‘Dead Throne,’ has premiered online. The clip was directed by Drew Russ (As They Sleep, For Today, Pierce the Veil) and is the first video released from ‘Throne.’

“The idea was to sort of match [the theme] on the inside gatefold of the album artwork,” singer Mike Hranica said of the clip during the band’s recent appearance on ‘Headbanger’s Ball.’ “The whole idea is sort of not having too much of an identity for the bandmembers. [Russ] was fantastic, and I’m really excited for people to see it.”

Prada moved about 32,000 copies of ‘Dead Throne’ in its first week out to land at No. 10 on the latest Billboard 200 albums chart. The band will kick off a fall North American tour on Nov. 3 in Milwaukee, Wis., and have dates scheduled through a Dec. 18 gig in Cincinnati. Last month, guitarist Chris Rubey talked to Loudwire about ‘Dead Throne’ in advance of its release.
