The Devil Wears Prada are celebrating the release of their latest album ‘Dead Throne’ with a headlining tour that features support from Whitechapel, Enter Shikari and For Today. On Tuesday, Dec. 13, they brought the house down at the Best Buy Theater in New York City.

The Devil Wears Prada exploded onstage and played tracks from the new album such as ‘Born to Lose,’ ‘Chicago,’ and ‘Constance,’ as well as older fan favorites like ‘Sassafrass,’ ‘Hey John What’s Your Name Again’ and ‘Danger: Wildman,’ among others.

Frontman Mike Hranica, rocking khaki shorts and tube socks, and the rest of his bandmates performed with major intensity as sweat and vigor spilled from the stage.

Death metal band Whitechapel definitely had the loudest set of the night. The bass, as well as the guttural growls of singer Phil Bozeman, had the audience vibrating in their shoes.

British band Enter Shikari gave New York fans a taste of how things are done in the U.K., as they hit the stage with their fusion of metal, punk rock, electronic, dubstep and much more.

For Today opened up the show with their high energy performance and frontman Mattie Montgomery had phenomenal crowd interaction and got them pumped, which set the tone for the rest of the night.

In our recent interview with the Devil Wears Prada guitarist Jeremy DePoyster, we asked about him what fans can expect from this tour, and he stated, “We just hope it’s a show that people won’t forget, an experience that you can’t get just from the album itself. I like to think that, you know there’s a lot of bands out there that sound great on CD and sound great live and I don’t know if that’s the case with us or not; but I feel like there is something to our live show, an energy that you can’t get anywhere else.”

The fans that attend this NYC concert would definitely agree with him. View the tour's remaining dates here.
