The Monkees’ Davy Jones Dies – Rockers React
Davy Jones of the Monkees passed away at the age of 66 from a heart attack yesterday (Feb. 29) and already an incredible outpouring of compassion has been shared throughout the world. While the Monkees' music is far from hard rock and metal, musicians such as Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, Disturbed vocalist David Draiman, Billy Idol and many more used their Twitter accounts to pay tribute to Jones.
