Caroline

The early ’90s provided a fresh new sound from the Windy City as the Smashing Pumpkins brought fuzzed out rock to the masses. The band found greater success with their later records, but ‘Gish’ is definitely a gem that became appreciated more over time.

Songs like ‘Siva’ and ‘Rhinoceros’ hit play lists at college radio, helping to grow their emerging fan base. Meanwhile ‘I Am the One’ and ‘Tristessa’ also became fan favorites, showing the range of what the band could pull off.
