The Winery Dogs have embodied the spirit of their sophomore effort's title, Hot Streak, putting heavy support behind the record. The power trio have just released a video for one of the more straightforward tracks on the album, "Captain Love," and will be returning stateside for a small run of headlining dates.

In the video above, footage is culled from the band's Oct. 29 performance at the Arcadia Theater in St. Charles, Ill. last year. "Captain Love" is the second track on the album, following scorching opener "Oblivion," keeping a rock-steady, mid-tempo pace with sustained, sultry chords. "It's a different sound for us because there's just so much space, which I really like and when you have that kind of space the guitars just sound bigger and everything just sounds huge," said singer-guitarist Richie Kotzen about the song in the video below.

Drummer Mike Portnoy has other reasons for liking the track so much, explaining, "I love 'Captain Love.' To me, it's one of my favorite tracks on the album. For me, personally, it's probably the most simplistic drum track I've ever recorded in the history of my career. But it's a stripper pole song. I've always wanted to have a stripper pole song somewhere in my catalog."

Returning to the U.S., the Winery Dogs will kick off a 10 city tour on June 25 in Hinckley, Minn. Eager to hit the road after heavy touring overseas, Portnoy exclaimed, "Eight months after kicking off our first U.S. leg last October and following runs in Europe, Japan & South America, we are excited to round home plate and return home with some more U.S. shows in June and July."

Hot Streak was released in October of 2015 and landed inside the Top 10 of multiple Billboard charts, including Top Hard Rock Albums (No. 5), Top Rock Albums (No. 6), Top Independent Albums (No. 5) and Top Modern Rock / Alternative Albums (No. 2). The album also reached No. 30 on the Billboard 200.
