Tom Cruise Sings Bon Jovi in ‘Rock of Ages’ Trailer

When you think of rock ’n’ roll, Tom Cruise might not cross your mind, but in the film adaptation of the Broadway show ’Rock of Ages,' Cruise plays 80s rock frontman Stacee Jaxx.

In the trailer Cruise dons tattooed wings on his upper back and ripped muscles as he sings Bon Jovi’s ‘Wanted Dead or Alive.’

Other celebs in the cast include Paul Giamatti rocking a sweet mustache, Alec Baldwin as a club promoter and Catherine Zeta-Jones who plays an uneasy, pants suit wearing character Patricia Whitmore, who wants to do everything in her power to shut down the Ages club.

Others who appear in this film include Russell Brand as a geeky journalist, Diego Boneta as hopeful rockstar Drew Boley and Julianna Hough as Boley’s love interest? Brace yourselves, Boneta and Hough do a duet of Warrant’s ‘Heaven.’

Let’s face it, the coolest character in this entire cast is a badass monkey named "Hey, man" who rocks a studded leather jacket everywhere he goes.

For some reason Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho screams the personality of rock god and diva Stacee Jaxx. Perhaps he would have been the superior choice to play the rock star?
