In a move sure to raise the eyebrows of Tool fans, drummer Danny Carey has agreed to play with ex-Tool bassist Paul D'Amour on a track for the debut full-length by D'Amour's new band Feersum Ennjin.

Carey will perform on "The Fourth," marking the first time he and D'Amour have worked together since Tool's 1995 album 'Aenima.' After that album was recorded, D'Amour left due to personal differences and was replaced by Justin Chancellor. D'Amour originally planned to release 'Feersum Ennjin' on Nov. 1, but pushed the record to Nov. 22 to add the extra song.

Since 1995, D'Amour recorded and toured with the psychedelic band Lusk, which also featured Brad Laner (Medicine), Greg Edwards (Autolux, Failure) and Chris Pitman (Gun N' Roses). He has also recorded numerous piece for film and television.
